قدم طيارون وجنود أميركيون 45 حمولة تحتوي على الطعام والماء والإمدادات الطبية إلى بيروت، حيث وصلت الى المطار مساء الجمعة.
وتواصل قيادة الدفاع الاميركية العمل بشكل وثيق مع الجيش اللبناني والسفارة الاميركية في بيروت لإغاثة اللبنانيين.
