أعلن التحالف الدولي، الجمعة، أن أنظمة الدفاع الجوي الأميركية أسقطت طائرة مسيّرة مفخّخة استهدفت قاعدة في العراق تضم قوات من التحالف الذي يكافح الجهاديين وتقوده الولايات المتحدة.
وقال التحالف في بيان إن “الطائرة أسقطت ليلا عند دخولها قاعدة عين الأسد الجوية غرب العراق”، مضيفا أنه “لم يتم الإبلاغ عن أي إصابات أو أضرار”.
وتستضيف قاعدة عين الأسد قوات من التحالف لكنها تخضع لسيطرة الجيش العراقي.
