استخدمت روسيا حق النقض، اليوم الجمعة، خلال تصويت مجلس الأمن الدولي على مشروع قرار قدمته النروج وإيرلندا لتمديد آلية إيصال المساعدات الإنسانية عبر الحدود لسوريا بدون موافقة دمشق لعام واحد، بحيث لم تقبل موسكو سوى تمديد لستة أشهر.
وتنتهي صلاحية التفويض الأحد، وهو ساري المفعول منذ عام 2014 يسمح بنقل مساعدات عبر معبر باب الهوى على الحدود السورية-التركية لأكثر من 2.4 مليون نسمة في منطقة إدلب الخاضعة لسيطرة جماعات جهادية ومعارضة.
