اعلن الجيش الأميركي، مساء الثلثاء، أنّ “زورقا للبحرية التابعة للحرس الثوري الإيراني اقترب لمسافة 150 ياردة من سفن حربية أميركية في مضيق هرمز”.
وأضاف الجيش الأميركي في بيان أن “الزورق “تصرف بشكل غير آمن وغير مهني”، لكن تم إنهاء الموقف بعد توجيه تحذيرات صوتية، واستخدام غير مميت لليزر”.
وأوضح أنّ “الحادث وقع في الخامس من كانون الأول خلال عملية عبور روتينية في المياه الدولية”.
