اعتبر وزير المالية الإسرائيلي بتسلئيل سموتريتش أنه “لا بد من ضرب عاصمة الإرهاب بيروت كي تنشغل بتأهيل نفسها بعد ضرباتنا”.
وأضاف: “قلت لرئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو إننا نقف إلى جانبك لتحقيق الحسم وسنقف ضدك إذا اخترت الاستسلام”.
