أعلنت وزارة الداخلية التونسية أن قوات الأمن تمكنت من القضاء على خلية إرهابية مؤلفة من أربعة عناصر، خلال عملية أمنية نُفذت في مدينة ماجل بلعباس التابعة لمحافظة القصرين غرب البلاد، قرب الحدود مع الجزائر.
وأوضحت الوزارة، في بيان مساء الخميس، أن العملية جاءت بعد أيام من المتابعة والتعقّب، مؤكدة استمرار العمل الأمني دون انقطاع في مختلف أنحاء البلاد لإحباط أي مخططات تستهدف أمن تونس وشعبها، من دون الكشف عن هوية العناصر أو انتماءاتها.
