طالب وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي الأسبق أفيغدور ليبرمان، السلطات بـ”تجهيز أماكن آمنة لملايين الأشخاص خشية اندلاع الحرب”.
وحول الاستعدادات الأمنية اللازمة في إسرائيل خشية اندلاع حرب مع إيران، قال ليبرمان: “علينا الاستعداد الآن وتجهيز أماكن آمنة لملايين الأشخاص الذين لا يملكون مكانًا آمنًا”.
وأشار إلى أنّ “قرار الحرب بيد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب”، موضحًا أنّ “إسرائيل في مرحلة يجب عليها فيها أن تهدأ وتنتظر”.
وختم: “هذا يحدث فوق رؤوسنا، وليس لدينا قدرة تُذكر على التأثير على الرئيس ترامب، فهو من يتّخذ القرارات المصيرية”.
