أكد الجيش الأميركي، أن قدرة إيران على تهديد مضيق هرمز تراجعت جرّاء قصف منشأة تحت الأرض هذا الأسبوع كانت طهران تخزّن فيها صواريخ كروز وأنواعًا أخرى من الأسلحة.
وقال قائد القيادة المركزية الأميركية الأدميرال براد كوبر، عبر “اكس”: “لم نكتفِ بتدمير المنشأة، بل قضينا أيضًا على مواقع دعم استخباراتي وأجهزة رادار موجِهة للصواريخ كانت تُستخدم لرصد تحركات السفن”.
وأضاف كوبر: “قدرة إيران على تهديد حرية الملاحة في مضيق هرمز وحوله تراجعت نتيجة لذلك، ولن نتوقف عن ملاحقة هذه الأهداف”.
